Is this a franchise? Not! We give you all the support, knowledge, training (no pun intended) that a franchise would give you but without the franchise fees, royalties, advertising expenses charged by franchises. With what you will pay in a franchise fee alone to another company, you can be completely set up and operational with the Shortline Caboose program.

Why do certain links on your website direct me to Syrup Systems website?
Shortline Caboose is the parent company for Syrup Systems Inc. Syrup Systems manufactures custom themed carts/kiosks/buildings/trucks and trailers for amusement and theme parks all over the country. Syrup Systems is the choice of more amusement parks across the country than any other snowcone/shaved ice company and received the impact award which is given to the company that has the largest impact on the amusement industry from the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA). As a member of the Shortline Caboose crew, you will benefit from all of the knowledge and contacts from both companies.

Do Shortline Caboose flavors have HFCS?
Nope, no HFCS (high fructose corn syrup). All of our flavors are shipped to you ready to use and as always, we only use 100% natural cane sugar.

How much does the bag-in-box dispensing system cost?
The dispensing system along with the snomixer equipment is proprietary and provided to crew members at no charge as long as you are a Shortline Caboose member. If you decide that you no longer want to make bank, simply send back our equipment, remove all logos from your purchased equipment.

What do the numbers look like?
You cost of goods is usually around 20% for a non-amusement type venue and can be as low as 10% for fairs, festivals and the like.
